as a dancer…
Ryn has been dancing most of her life, with over two decades of training and experience. Like most in her field, she began dancing as a toddler, training at local studios and attending competitions and conventions. Though she took
classes in all styles, she could never deny her love for ballet, and the dream of being a true ballerina.
She transitioned into intense ballet training, receiving her year-round schooling at Kansas City Ballet School’s Day Program and the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, D.C., and attended summer programs at prestigious schools
such as American Ballet Theatre in New York City and Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam.
After graduation, Ryn briefly joined Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas. There, she had the opportunity to work with Cirque du Soleil in a choreographic collaboration, and being exposed to a new environment and new artists helped
her discover a new dream: to become a Cirque du Soleil performer. Notably, to hold the role of La Belle in the original residency show, Mystère.
Shortly after, Ryn returned to training to prepare for her new venture, studying in Las Vegas and brushing up on her abilities in all styles of dance. Ryn also held a few positions in the Las Vegas dance scene, most notably as part
of the inaugural cast of Delilah at the Wynn, where she was soon promoted to Dance Captain.
In 2022, after four years of auditioning, Ryn was at last cast in Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère. She’s currently performing ten shows a week as the principal character La Belle.
At Mystère, Ryn finds so much joy into using her ballet training and acting chops to craft her character, as well as growing and maturing in her interpretation as she does so in life. She’s also incredibly honored to be a featured
figure in the show’s current marketing campaigns, her image being used in advertisements, merchandise, and on various billboards around Las Vegas. Keep an eye out for her!
